Agrilution develops a personal vertical farming ecosystem centered around the Plantcube and the agrilution App.
The Plantcube enables customers to grow a variety of greens at home fully automated.
The software ecosystem consists of Firmware, Backend, an App as well as internal R&D tools for plant scientists, quality teams and customer support.

• Enabled an international and interdisciplinary team of Frontend-, Backend-, Embedded Software-, and Electrical Engineers to deliver high quality results
• Strategic planning of Software Related Topics in the field of a personal vertical farming ecosystem.
• Extending and Maintaining the Software architecture for “agrilution os” - the ecosystem for a personal vertical farming device
• Allocating human resources and budgets to achieve Top level Company goals
• Motivation Management of the team to enable engagement and drive prduct innovation through software features
• Managing external developers
• Initiating the outsourcing of App Development - and driving the process from an idea, over the selection of partners to supervising the implementation resulting in a more agile change management

• Development of the entire ecosystem from firmware, backend logic and API for the Plantcube, a hydroponics consumer device.
• Coordinated the implementation of new software and hardware components with internal Stakeholders
• Designed and developed software including automated tests for the network communication of an iot-device based on an ESP8266 chip and its cloud backend
• Established Processes to synchronize activities (e.g. Software Dailies)
• Developed internal and external web tools for product configuration, hardware testing, and data analysis
• Designed and configured deployment pipelines
• Performed non-technical tasks as managing coffee and drinks ordering and cleaning the kitchen on a regular basis

• Direct - and in the first year full and sole - responsibility for the conception, design and implementation of the software for the prototype of a fully automated, enclosed hydroponic consumer device based on a raspberry PI.
• Assessed, tested and implemented hardware components required to build a fully automated hydroponic climate chamber

• Designed, programmed, and maintained a large-scale WordPress plugin including registration, payments, and other functionalities for registered users.
• Administered G Suite and domain names.
• Available as "Third Level Support" for critical issues.
